Who they are
Signpost Portal is a UK-wide search portal for supported, exempt and DSS-friendly accommodation: transitional, supported, emergency, mental health, recovery, care leavers, domestic abuse refuge and young people’s housing.
The brief
People who need supported housing are usually in a crisis, searching scattered sources that hide whether benefits are accepted or if a place is even available. Providers needed a safe, trusted channel to reach them.
What we achieved
A free, confidential search portal: enter a postcode or city, compare suitable places with provider details and availability, then message providers directly or request a referral through Signpost. Plain-English guides and urgent-help signposting sit alongside the listings.
